Q: Hi I would like to know if the Quickbooks budget complier will work for us. I've had a look and I'm not sure. Essentially we have a complex budget, with about 20 different cost centers. We need to be able to input the budget by month for each individual cost centre. I've tried doing this using the IFF files, but it will only work on calander year, but we need financial year. Can you help?

A: It should work (may require a little manipulation). Export the exisiting data to a .csv file and then import it to the compiler. If required you can manipulate the data in the csv file, the compiler or even the generated IFF file. The best approach is to give it a try. You can download from www.bizpeponline.com .
