Questions & Answers
Q: I have some unique things to do including adding input lines and changing the way some things are calculated. Can you please provide a password for unlocking the worksheets and cells?
A: Input cells (blue) are not protected and are the only cells that should be changed for the software to function correctly. All input is via unprotected input cells, protected cells contain formula and should not be changed. The software is fully functional and the protection is in place to ensure the software formula and code is not corrupted. Depending on the required scope of work desired it may be possible to build your changes into a seperate excel sheet and link inputs and outputs from the main valuation worksheets which could simply act as a hidden backend if desired. This would allow you to fully customise overall styling, inputs and outputs to suit your requirements without impacting on the underlying model. Q: I need to modify the valuation spreadsheet to better reflect our current situation - specifically with labelling / comments etc, but I am unable to. It says I have to unprotect the sheet but its password protected?
A: All of the blue shaded cell contents can be changed. This includes the labels on the Input sheet and all blue shaded cells elsewhere which are then carried through to all other sheets. As some of these include hyperlinks it is usually easier to tab into the cell than clicking it (as clicking takes you to the hyperlink). This allows you to refine descriptions to suit. If you want to completely modify to a specific layout / format you can create your own input workbook (ie new workbook) and build your own input interface sheet and simply link your inputs from this workbook to the corresponding input in the valuation workbook ie goto the valuation input cell and type = and then click the required cell in your own workbook input sheet. The same approach (in reverse) can be used to customise the outputs if needed.

Q: I need to generate several passwords at one time for different visitors in order for them to access 1 webpage where there will be a download for them. Could you please help me with that?
A: In standard operation Password Page Protection Software applies a single password for all access and all user/page access is covered by the same password, if the page accessed is the same for all then having a single access password for all users is generally suitable. There is also a Use Password Not Set function that allows users to set their own password however it is not as secure. For details see https://bizpep.com/password/
