Q: I tried to import my quickbooks into your product and it did not work. It looks like an awesome resource, but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I've attached my csv file for your review.
A: Your Pl.csv file needs to be the same format as the sample Pl.csv provided with the software. Yours includes Budget and $ Over Budget columns. You should only have the month columns (see the sample file) exported from QuickBooks.

Q: When I was trying the evaluation version, my Windows XP complained about the certificate authority not being recognized. It appears that your domain is your own certificate authority, which I'm not to trust. Do you have a version of the spreadsheet that has a certificate that Windows trusts?
A: We are very reputable (see client comments). All software is completely safe and can be downloaded directly from our servers. 100's of copies are downloaded every day. The reason you receive a security notice is that we do not pay a third party for a security certificate of questionable value.

Q: Some of the monetary amounts listed in the months columns had three
or four decimals after the decimal point, ie 25000.0000. This was
making the totals come out incorrect.
A: QuickBooks should handle more than 2 decimal places in a value and adjust accordingly. This may be an issue with QuickBooks 2006? A manual fix could be applied by editing the Imp.iif file. It can be opened in a text editor and modified if required. I am not sure that this would affect the totals as .000 + .01 is still .01?

Q: After importing into Quickbooks my account list had duplicate
entries in the "banking type" account list.
A: Open the Imp.iif file using a text editor and check the line items listed. If there are no duplicates then the iff file and are compiler doing the correct job and QuickBooks is duplicating for some reason. Check to make sure that the row titles are exactly as required they must match from compiler to iff to compiler (they should as they are simply copied from one to the next).
